The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.

GOD observes everyone on earth. HIS eyes examine them.

Nothing is hidden from GOD. He sees all. He knows all. One of the attributes of GOD is His ability to see and know everything from the beginning of time. God is Omnipotent  (Omni =all, Potent = power). All seeing, all knowing.

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom (Isaiah 40:28)

And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, “Alleluia! For the Lord God Omnipotent reigns (Revelation 19:6).

It is always good to know someone is watching.

This verse is written for me.  To remind me of His eyes. When a person thinks no one will notice or see their deeds then the fallen nature of man begins to stretch the line of right and wrong.   That is why we have auditors, courts, IRS audits, police.  Because when man thinks no one is watching…look out.

God’s eyes are compassionate, holy, piercing.  He not only sees but He examines. If you know Christ, GOD does see your actions and attitudes but He also sees the righteousness of His son Jesus Christ covering us.  Live life knowing God is watching and you will keep a lightnside.
